Benefits of Optima Root
Improves root growth
Stimulates shoot growth
Supports crops during periods of stress.
When to apply
Apply around the time of sowing, planting or transplanting, and during the early growth stage, when strong root development and shoot growth are crucial for establishment and subsequent yield.
Root & Shoot is applied immediately after planting or emergence, and can be used in repeated applications to stimulate root growth and make the crop more resistant to stress.
Particularly relevant:
- For young plants and newly planted or transplanted crops
following root damage or a weak start; - In stressful conditions (cold, wet or dry conditions);
- When rapid and vigorous rooting is required.
Function of the (nutrient) substances
-
Seaweeds are naturally rich in alginates and complex sugars, which makes them resistant to the extreme conditions of the sea. Optima Root thus supports crops during periods of stress.
-
The humic acids in Optima Root ensure that nutrients are better absorbed.
-
The nutrients in Optima Root are very important for root development. By applying Optima Root, you provide optimum support for root growth.

Instructions for use
- Shake or stir well before use.
- Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight at 5°C to 25°C. Crystallization may occur below 5°C.
- Due to residue formation, avoid foliar applications on visually attractive crops immediately prior to harvesting.
- Attention: Do not mix with other products in pure, undiluted form. Not compatible with products that contain calcium and/or phosphate.
- Optima Root is best applied early in the morning or in the evening to avoid strong sunlight. This minimises the risk of crop damage due to leaf burn. If the crop stays wet for longer, the nutrient uptake is improved. We recommend carrying out a trial application on a small area first, before applying to the entire plot.
- The best before date is guaranteed if the product is stored according to these guidelines in the unopened original packaging.
